Canned hunts are very well kept (and not exactly legal) secrets. A canned hunt is 'hunting' exotic animals in cages and selling (if its a tiger) their body parts on the Chinese black market. The animals are supplied by zoos. (People like baby animals, so the zoos breed them. When they get old there is overcrowding, so they sell some of them as 'surplus' but they don't keep track of who buys them. (Read about it in a book called Lord of the Kill.)
