Jennifer Holland takes pride in having 40 snakes in her basement and a freezer full of packaged mice for late-night feedings. Combine her reptilian hobby (part of her husband's business) with degrees in English and Conservation Biology, and you'll understand why she's been with the Society for nearly a decade. Jenny is a senior writer at National Geographic magazine, focused mainly on life science and natural history (reptilian, mammalian, avian, amoebic, you name it). Assignments on a sea of Arctic ice, among bus-long tiger sharks, and afloat in zero gravity have only heightened her adventuresome spirit.
